  Update: it would be nice to see Target recognize that sometimes people need help. I ended up having to push two shopping carts out to my car at the same time last week. The target employees assumed I could handle it on my own. When I did ask for help, it became clear that nobody was going to help me anytime soon. My time is just as valuable as anyone else's. This happened several years ago when I had surgery on my shoulder and just needed a little help out with the cart. I stood around for almost TEN minutes and finally waived down an employee who kept walking past me. He was looking for someone with obvious limitations. Come on, you can do better. I end up giving my business to Amazon and Publix because of things like this. (Publix always offers and sometimes insists on pushing the cart out.) The Target employee collecting carts in the parking lot was so nice, he went inside the store and brought me back a cart that could accommodate my two young children. He made my Target shopping experience very pleasant, even greeting me leaving the store. He even took the cart when I was done with it. The store was crowded and they did have adequate registers open. The cashier was friendly and patient, even when my card wasn't working. She grabbed a manager who helped work out the problem. I did very well, some prices are rediculous...5 or 6 bucks for a pound of butter... but that's the world in which we live. I like Target overall because they have good products and decent prices. I can get everything we need at Target. I like the selection of baby essentials. Even carrying Stride rite shoes now. Target is probably the next best thing to Amazon.
